1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ToolLab (toollab.ca), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

ToolLab provides free and paid AI-powered online tools including PDF processing, image editing, voice generation, QR code generation, text tools, and calculators. Basic tools are free with daily usage limits. Pro subscribers get unlimited access.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You may not share your account or use the service for illegal purposes.

4. Free Tier Usage Limits

Free users are subject to daily usage limits on PDF, image, and voice tools. These limits reset daily and are enforced to ensure fair access for all users. We reserve the right to adjust limits at any time.

5. Pro Subscriptions

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $5/month via Stripe.
• You may cancel anytime from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge for refund requests.

6. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

AI features require your own OpenAI API key. You are responsible for API usage costs incurred through your OpenAI account. ToolLab does not store your API key after your request completes.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ToolLab for illegal activities or to process illegal content
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or exploit the service
• Upload malware, spam, or harmful content
• Overload or attack the service infrastructure

8. Limitation of Liability

ToolLab is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including data loss from processed files.
